Sunshine. Site launches. A few bloopers. And an office transformation that saw us embracing our inner Lord Sugar. Yes, we really did take part in a high-stakes team-building challenge inspired by The Apprentice. Expect bold branding, questionable deals, and more marketing mischief than you can shake a flipchart at.
But while we were navigating boardroom drama and biscuit-fuelled brainstorms, the wider b4b world didn’t stop. Quite the opposite: we launched four fantastic websites, welcomed new clients, delivered show-stopping media projects, and celebrated some major milestones.
So, pop the kettle on and scroll on down. We’ve got plenty to share 👇

Website Launches
🔧 Col-Tec
Engineering legends in the world of collating, Col-Tec just celebrated 50 years in business, and we gave them the digital platform to match. Their new b4b-built website celebrates their global reach and no-nonsense approach to their machinery. It’s slick, smart, and shows the world they’re just getting started.
⚾ Oxford City Bowls
We brought a century of Oxford sporting history online with this warm, welcoming, and accessible new site for Oxford City Bowls Club. From taster sessions to tournament days, it’s designed to grow their community. Plus, it gives prospective members a proper digital hello; pint at the bar, optional (but encouraged).
💪 Pioneer Personal Training
Powerlifting pedigree meets powerful UX. Like its founder, this new site for Pioneer Personal Training pulls no punches. Designed to motivate, convert, and reflect the brand's no-excuses energy, it’s built for users who want results and want them now. In just one visit, you’ll be booking your first session.
🍷 Templar Wines
For Templar Wines, we uncorked a site that blends premium aesthetics with French flair. Their stylish new eCommerce platform puts Bruno Andreau’s bold bottles and curated collections front and centre. From buttery Chardonnays to bold new blends, it’s a virtual cellar worth exploring.

Client Focus
🧬 Thrive Supplements
Meet Thrive — our newest health-focused client shaking up the supplements space. Backed by science and powered by purpose, Thrive is all about helping people unlock their full potential. We’re handling their social media strategy, promo campaigns, and brand rollout across Meta. Trust us, this one’s about to go big.
🚿 Fohen
You’ve seen their taps. Now meet their tap into success story. This month, we launched a new Fohen case study. It shows off their instant boiling water tech with crisp visuals, compelling copy, and clear performance results. From taps to traffic, this one’s got serious flow.

Media Highlights
🎣 Collins Nets
From fisheries and field sports to water rescue kits, Collins Nets has grown into the UK’s go-to for specialist netting solutions. Shot on-site and styled with purpose, we delivered with the quality their 35+ year reputation demands.
🏁 Poole Pirates Speedway
They came. They revved. They absolutely rocked it. The Poole Pirates Speedway dropped back into our in-house studio to film fresh content. Our team had to level up its horsepower for this one as we shot dynamic media content built for socials, promos, and fan-fuelled hype.
🌳 Harbour View Crematorium
Filming at Harbour View is always a privilege. This month, we shared the story of their unique woodland burial site. We captured the eco-inspired architecture and stunning beauty of the 70-acre grounds with a sense of calm and care — a serene, moving project we’re proud to share.
Got a story worth sharing? Let’s turn it into scroll-stopping content. Chat with our Media Production team, and let’s roll.

Fresh Content
👨🔬 Meet Jed Murray
Say hello to Jed Murray, our Head of Software and the quietly brilliant brain behind many of the bespoke systems we deliver here at b4b. Originally a Chemistry graduate (yep, seriously), Jed swapped lab coats for laptops in pursuit of a faster-paced, client-focused career.
🧸 b4b, Miniaturised
When OpenAI dropped its new image tool, we couldn’t resist. Say hello to the poseable versions of the b4b media team. Fully fictional, wildly unnecessary, and 100% hilarious. Would we buy the whole set? Absolutely.
🎬 Chrissie & Dani vs. The Outtakes
Behind every flawless final edit is a blooper reel bursting with stumbles, side eyes, and accidental camera angles. Chrissie and Dani gave us all the behind-the-scenes chaos — proof that a perfect shot takes patience, laughter, and a wee bit of mild panic.
🍋 Wholesale Cakes
April’s Cake of the Month? A citrusy, floral Persian Lemon beauty that nearly derailed production. (We won’t name names, but someone tried to eat the set). Styled to perfection and shot with care, it’s a feast for the eyes — and hopefully soon, the office kitchen (please).

Software Highlights
📈 MB Wilkes
April brought major wins from our software squad. After launching MB Wilkes’ new eCommerce platform, we’re thrilled to share just how well it’s performing:
- 📦 +39% increase in online orders compared to last year
- 💰 +33.5% growth in online revenue compared to last year
That’s not just a good quarter but a sign of what happens when strategy, UX, and tech come together.

Workiversaries
🎯 Hayley Baverstock
Nine years in as our Accounts Director, and Hayley’s still the calm in every storm. From managing projects to mentoring team members, her leadership, warmth, and wit have made her a cornerstone of b4b for nearly a decade. She's also known for her poker face in pitch meetings — and The Apprentice boardroom *gulp*.
💻 Joey Gray
It’s been two years since Joey joined b4b as our Website Project Manager and all-around workflow wizard. Joey keeps web builds running smoothly, clients updated, and our deadlines in check. Clients love him. We love him. Yes, even with all the Donald Duck impressions.
📲 Matt Wade
Having joined the b4b ranks in April 2024, within weeks, Matt AKA “Wadey” was already shaping the look and feel of our social feeds. Now a go-to Social Media Executive, he’s behind the lens, on top of trends, and always ready with a killer caption. One year in — and he’s just getting started.

Seasonal Events
👨⚖️ The b4b Apprentice: Officially Unhinged
Yes, we did it. We brought The Apprentice from the BBC to b4b — and no, you’re not ready (we ruddy weren’t). What started as a team-building challenge quickly turned into the most quotable project we’ve ever launched.
- Questionable pitches? ✔️
- Loose interpretation of strategy? ✔️
- An official trailer that deserves awards (or therapy)? ✔️
Watch the Trailer if you haven’t already.
🏌️(Sir) Tilley on the Tee
Unable to join the challenge in person, Sir Anthony Tilley beamed in his best wishes from the Scottish fairways. Boardroom duties? Delegated. Golf? Prioritised.
💥 (Baroness) Baverstock Pulls No Punches
“You call that negotiating?” Hayley didn’t hold back as our fearsome (and fabulous) boardroom judge. Tough but fair. Except when it came to overspending . . . then she was just tough.
😅 (Lord) Llewellyn, Mildly Concerned
“Didn’t know chaos could be this well-branded,” said Rich, mid-judgment. We’re unsure if that was a compliment or a cry for help, but we’ll take it anyway.
