Blossom on the trees, a Bank Holiday that disappears before you've decided what to do with it, and a diary that somehow fills itself faster than any other month of the year. It must be May! Between the team launching two new websites, launching the first b4b Social Lab, celebrating four workiversaries, and heading back to the karting circuit for Round 2 of the Agency Grand Prix, we can confirm our team have been well and truly driven by our renewed values.
It was also the month our new website design offer went live . . . every new website project now comes with a FREE professional photoshoot worth £500. Plus, we opened the doors to more AI workshops in Ringwood this June. Plenty to get into, so let's not hang about.
Here's what we've launched, created, and delivered in the May 2026 Roundup 👇

Website Launches
Polygon Pets
If your dog's idea of a post-walk wind-down involves rolling in something unspeakable and then heading straight for the car seats, Polygon Pets has the answer. They've been running self-service dog wash machines at parks, country estates, and outdoor destinations nationwide since 2016, and now they've got a site to match. Clean, practical, and very easy to find your nearest wash point. We like to think it's their best in show.
Bournemouth Rugby
Over a century of rugby in Bournemouth, a promotion from Regional 2 South Central this season, and serious ambitions for Tier 5 and beyond. Bournemouth Rugby needed a site with a bit of steel to it, and that's exactly what we built. Bold, dark, and covering the full club story from 1888 to the present day, it gives their growing community of players, families, and sponsors a place to land. b4b are also a title partner, so this one felt personal.
If your website isn't doing your business justice, our Web Design and Development team would love to help you change that. Every new website project comes with a free professional photoshoot worth £500 right now.

Client Focus
Hoddesdon Bowls Club
Hoddesdon Bowls Club left us a cracking review this month, and we couldn't not share it:
"Matthew has been helpful from start to finish in setting up our current website. Looking forward to sharing a long relationship with b4b."
A huge thank you to Hoddesdon Bowls Club for the kind words. It's been a pleasure supporting you on your journey, and we're very much looking forward to a long relationship too.

Media Highlights
b4b Social Lab (25th June, Smartbase)
Matthew East was back in b4b’s media studio this month, filming fresh content with Senior Social Media Specialist Dani Blythe for a brand-new project. The b4b Social Lab is a practical breakfast workshop for business owners and marketing teams who want to use user-generated content (UGC) and influencer campaigns to build trust, improve content performance, and generate stronger marketing results. It's free, it's in-person, and it's on the 25th June at Smartbase, 8:30-10:30am. Grab a free place while you can.
Got a story worth telling? Speak to our Media Production team, and let's work out how to tell it well.

Fresh Content
Refresh Your Website Every 4-5 Years
There's a question we get asked fairly regularly at b4b, "Our website is a few years old . . . do we really need a new one?" More often than not, the honest answer is yes. Commercial Director Hayley Baverstock covers the key reasons why, from first impressions and mobile performance to SEO and security, and what a modern, well-built website can actually do for your business.
Strong Photography is Important for Brands
Stock photos have their place, but not on your homepage, service pages, or anywhere a potential customer is forming an opinion about your business. Matthew East makes the commercial case for investing in professional photography, covering how authentic imagery shapes first impressions, drives conversions, and builds the kind of trust that a well-lit office plant simply cannot. Worth a read if you've been making do with the generic stuff.

Workiversaries
Bart Blomfield
Three years in, and Bart remains one of those people who genuinely relishes getting under the hood of a business. As one of our Senior Account Managers, he builds the kind of client relationships that last, whether that's in the boardroom or, apparently, on the tennis court. Degrees from Durham and Oxford, a road bike, a SUP board, and a dog called Marlowe. Not bad going, Bart.
Natalia Prieto
Four years of giving shape and colour to ideas across our promotions, marketing, and media teams, and Natalia has been brilliant every step of the way. Originally from Bogotá, she graduated from Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano and has been making things look good for b4b ever since. Here's to the next four!
Dani Blythe
Two years in and Dani is already building a Social Lab series, growing her own channels, and bringing UK and US media industry experience to everything she touches. She's our Senior Social Media Specialist by title, and a force of nature by practice. We're very glad she's on the team.
Sarah Cooke
Account Manager, painter, interior design enthusiast, jetsetter (Bali, the USA, Australia, and New Zealand, since you ask), and proud mum to a Welsh Terrier named Crumble. Three years of keeping clients happy and campaigns on track, and Sarah still somehow finding time to travel the world. We don't know how she does it either.
You can meet the full crew on our team page.

Seasonal Spotlight
Race 2 of the Agency Grand Prix
Race 1 was only the warm-up. May brought Race 2 of the Agency Grand Prix, this time an endurance team race at the outdoor circuit at South Coast Karting in Bournemouth. Unfinished business, new drivers, fresh tyres, and a point to prove. We came away with second place, moving us up to third in the overall standings with two races still to go. A big thank you to Emily Ryan for cutting the race-day reel. We'll see you under the lights for Race 3.

Enjoyed this month's updates? May was a busy one, and if we've been part of your story this month, we'd love to hear about it. A quick review makes a real difference to the team, supports the work we do, and gives others an honest picture of what it's like to partner with b4b.
From karting circuits and dog wash launches to Social Lab filming days and four workiversaries in a single month, May has been quite the one to follow along with. Catch the behind-the-scenes moments, project highlights, and the occasional hot take on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.

June is already shaping up nicely. The AI workshop is on the calendar, the Social Lab is coming together, and there's plenty more in the pipeline. Watch this space.
