Easter chocolate for breakfast. An office full of hot cross b4buns. A space programme that lasted approximately 24 hours. April had the lot. Between the seasonal chaos, the team launched four new websites, celebrated five workiversaries, published two blogs, shot at Merley House (not like that!), recorded a crackin' podcast episode, and welcomed a new baby into the b4b family.
April was also the month our new website design offer went live, the Agency Grand Prix revved into view, and we launched an Inspired by Yola fundraiser, which is well worth a look and a contribution if you can. Our thoughts are with Yola's friends and family during this time. She will be greatly missed by everyone at b4b.
Here's what we've launched, created, and delivered in the April 2026 Roundup 👇

Website Launches
Winederful
If your idea of a good evening involves a well-chosen bottle, a tasting note, and a VIP membership that keeps the good stuff coming, Winederful might just be your new favourite website. We built them a clean, conversion-focused e-commerce site that showcases wines, memberships, and tasting experiences from around the world. Go on, treat yourself. You've earned it.
Hoddesdon Bowls Club (Rosehill)
Ninety years on the green and still going strong, Hoddesdon Bowls Club (Rosehill) now has a website to match that legacy. Built to welcome new members as warmly as it serves existing ones, the site makes the club easy to find, easy to understand, and easy to join. After all, a community that's been around since 1936 deserves a proper digital home.
Bowlr Store
Whether you're after a new set of bowls, fresh kit, or the chance to design your own bowl from scratch, Bowlr Store has you covered. We built a specialist e-commerce site to pair with Bowlr that carries serious product depth across clothing, shoes, and equipment without making the shopping experience feel like hard work. Jack of all trades, master of bowls, eh?
B4 the Hype
Not a networking event. Not a panel. Not a chance to collect business cards you'll never look at again. b4 the Hype is a curated monthly supper club for founders, creatives, and brands who'd rather have one good conversation than twenty forgettable ones. We built the site to feel exactly like the events do. Considered, warm, and a wee-bit special. The first one sold out, but more on that down below . . .
If your website isn't doing your business justice, our Web Design and Development team would love to help you change that.

Client Focus
Phox Water
A 184% increase in Google Ads revenue. We'll give you a moment with that number. Our Phox Water case study is now live and details how a full account rebuild, a tighter campaign structure, and smarter spend alignment can deliver a 40% reduction in cost per acquisition alongside that headline result. Proof, if it were needed, that a solid pay-per-click (PPC) strategy beats a hopeful one every time.
Steele Raymond
Law firms don't always make for the most thrilling website briefs, but Steele Raymond gave us something worth getting excited about. The brief called for clarity, confidence, and a site that earns trust before a single word has been read. The finished site does exactly that, and moves visitors smoothly from first impression to enquiry without breaking a sweat.
Our case studies show most of our work in full. If something catches your eye, get in touch and let's have a conversation.

Media Highlights
YouTube Product Tagging
Turns out your YouTube channel might be a shop window you've been leaving unlocked but not actually open. Matt East broke down YouTube's product tagging feature this month, covering how it works, why it matters, and why businesses selling products online should already be using it to turn views directly into sales. It's pretty simple in practice, but easy to overlook in theory.
BTS: Merley House
The team packed up the kit and headed to Merley House for a video production shoot this month, with a brief that went beyond "make it look nice." Our goal was to capture how the venue actually feels, the atmosphere, the character, the sense of occasion, which takes a very different approach than pointing a camera at a pretty room and hoping for the best!
Global Edge Podcast: Donovan Long from Dojo
Studio 10 played host to Donovan Long from Dojo for the latest episode of the b4b Global Edge podcast. With Dojo supporting tens of thousands of UK businesses on payments and point of sale, there was a lot to get into, including what businesses routinely get wrong, and what building at genuine scale actually looks like from the inside. A genuinely good listen.

Why Boosting Website Traffic Post-Launch Is So Challenging
You've launched the site. You've told everyone. And then . . . not much. Sound familiar? Our latest web traffic guide unpacks why post-launch traffic so often disappoints and, more usefully, what actually moves the needle. If your new site is sitting there quietly waiting for visitors who haven't shown up yet, this one's for you.
9 Common Mistakes to Avoid When Adopting AI in Your Business
Everyone's talking about AI, yet fewer people are using it well. Our latest cautionary AI blog cuts through the noise with nine genuine pitfalls to avoid, from chasing the wrong tools to expecting results without putting in the groundwork. Consider it a field guide for doing this properly rather than just doing it (sorry, Shia).
Come and keep up with the latest thinking from the team over on our News page.

Workiversaries
Andy Torevell
Twelve years at b4b. Twelve! Andy's been here long enough to remember when half the team were in nappies (professionally speaking, of course), and his contribution to this agency over that time is genuinely hard to overstate. His impact over at Bowlr has been second to none. Here's to the next chapter, Andy.
Hayley Baverstock
A decade at b4b, and Hayley now holds the keys to the commercial kingdom as our Commercial Director. She's been part of some of the agency's biggest moments, and quietly steered things in the right direction with the kind of calm authority that makes it look easier than it is. Ten years well spent, and very well earned.
Lisa Blackburn
Five years in, and Lisa remains one of the sharpest minds we have when it comes to search engine optimisation (SEO) and PPC. Clients benefit from her expertise every single day, often without knowing quite how much of their visibility she's responsible for. Happy b4biversary, Lisa!
Joey Gray
Three years as Website Project Manager and Joey has quietly become the person who makes sure the wheels stay on. If a website project ran smoothly recently, there's a very good chance Joey had something to do with it, probably before anyone else had even noticed there was a problem.
Matt Wade
Two years in, and Matt has barely paused for breath, including jumping into a kart at the Agency Grand Prix when Rich was called away on business, because apparently two years at b4b prepares you for anything! As always, he arrives ready to go and doesn't stop. Here's to another two, Wadey!
Congratulations to all five. Milestones like these are what a good agency is built on. Think you'd fit right in? We're always looking for great people to join the team 😉

Promotions
New Merchandise Bundles
Our promotional products actually get used. Radical concept, we know! We pulled together a fresh selection of branded merchandise bundles this month, covering everything from event giveaways to client gifts and team kits. Thoughtfully put together and built to reflect your brand properly, not just slap a logo on something.
The Benefits of Branded Workwear for UK SMEs
If "sort out the team workwear" has been living on your to-do list for longer than you'd like to admit, our latest branded workwear guide might be the nudge you need. It covers the real-world benefits, from how your team looks on a job to how your brand registers in the field, and makes a pretty compelling case for treating it as marketing rather than just uniform procurement.
Whether you need branded clothing, packaging, or merchandise, our Promotions team is ready to help you get it right.

Seasonal Events
Inaugural B4 the Hype Supper Club
The first b4 the Hype event took place at Flamingo Cafe in Ashley Cross, and from all reports, it was exactly what it was supposed to be. Warm, unhurried, and full of the kind of conversation that doesn't happen when everyone's got a name badge and an agenda. Intimate by design, built for people who'd rather connect than perform.
AI at TradePod
We headed to TradePod this month for a no-nonsense session on practical AI adoption, and covered how businesses are actually putting the tools to work, where things tend to go wrong, and what a sensible first step looks like. With our AI mistakes blog also live this month, the timing couldn't have been better. A practical, energising evening. If you missed it, don't worry. Demand was so high that there's another AI workshop on the horizon.
Agency Grand Prix
Helmets on! Race 1 of the Agency Grand Prix took place on 22nd April, with b4b fielding Ankit (bringing PPC-level precision to the grid), Miranda (with a competitive edge that keeps everyone on their toes), Matt W covering for Rich after our Operations Director was called away on business, and Matthew East making sure every pit stop was captured in premium-grade content. Drama, tactics, and some seriously quick lap times. Race 2 is next month, people!

Enjoyed this month's updates? April was a busy one, and if we've been part of your story this month, we'd love to hear about it. A quick review makes a real difference to the team, supports the work we do, and gives others an honest picture of what it's like to partner with b4b.
From Agency Grand Prix race days to Easter office traditions and supper clubs that sold out before we'd finished posting about them, April has been quite the month to follow along with. Catch the behind-the-scenes moments, project highlights, and the occasional hot take on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
