July gave the nation its annual dose of Wimbledon, that peculiar fortnight where the whole country pretends to understand tennis scoring, eats more strawberries than the rest of the year combined, and collectively agrees not to mention the weather, win or lose. Jannik Sinner lifted the trophy, someone got engaged on Centre Court, and somewhere in Poole, b4b carried on with rather less pomp and considerably more spreadsheets.

We didn't let the mercury get in the way of a good month, though. There was UGC know-how to be picked up, competitive streaks to be unearthed at the Grand Prix, and (rather more sensibly) websites to be built, all against the usual backdrop of deadlines, brainstorms and one too many coffees.

Here's what we launched, learned and celebrated in the July 2026 Roundup.

Website Launches

Jade Aden Developments

Jade-Aden Developments has been delivering commercial design, build and fit-out projects across Dorset, Devon and the home counties for over 30 years. Designed and built by Lauren, the new site showcases their design-through-delivery process alongside a growing portfolio that includes net zero headquarters and production facilities. Clean, professional and built to reflect three decades of hands-on construction expertise.

Klou

Klou builds robust hydraulic attachments for excavators and skid steers, from grapples to stump grinders, manufactured largely in-house right here in the UK. Designed and built by Matt, the new website puts the product range front and centre, backed by genuine customer testimonials from contractors who rely on the kit daily. Practical, no-nonsense and built for the trade.

Hurn Recycling

Dorset's largest independent waste company since 1998, Hurn Recycling collects and recycles for businesses across Dorset, Devon, Hampshire and Wiltshire. Designed and built by Joey, the rebuild refreshes an already established site with a clearer service structure and simpler quote journey, ready to go live this month. A sharper front door for a well-established name.

If your website isn't pulling its weight, our Web Design and Development team would love to sort that out. Whether you need a simple one-pager or a site with decades of content behind it, we've built it all, so get in touch and tell us what yours needs.

Fresh Content

SEO vs AEO vs GEO

Search now works across three surfaces rather than one and treating them as separate budgets is a mistake. Traditional rankings, AI Overview citations and generative answers all draw on the same foundation of authority, structure and clear expertise, so a strong SEO base already does most of the heavy lifting for the other two. Understanding where your content stands across all three is what keeps visibility intact as search keeps changing.

Every project has a story behind it, and we love telling them properly. Take a look at the full collection over on our case studies page, or if you fancy being the next one, get in touch and let's get started.

How to Improve Your Google Maps SEO for Local Rankings

Having a Google Business Profile isn't the same as ranking in the map pack. This piece breaks down the three factors Google uses to rank local results, relevance, distance and prominence, and looks at how you can improve your Google Maps SEO for local rankings. It covers building relevance through profile completeness, photos and reviews, plus earning prominence through NAP consistency, directory listings and local backlinks.

How Does Custom Packaging Increase Brand Value & Loyalty?

Packaging is the one marketing channel a customer physically holds, and this blog explores why this matters for brand value and loyalty. Drawing on UK and international data, it covers how premium packaging builds a halo effect around a product, how a considered unboxing experience drives repeat purchases and social sharing, and why sustainable packaging is now a genuine purchase driver, particularly among younger British shoppers.

There's always more brewing behind the scenes. Head over to our news page for the team's latest thinking.

Workiversaries

Emma Pawling

Eight years for Emma, and the team still hasn't worked out how she juggles everyone's workload without ever dropping the ball. Client assignments, deadlines, the lot, all handled with a calm that the rest of us can only aspire to. Happy Workiversary!

Toby McConnell

Three years in for Toby, who's spent them turning client strategies into serious growth, one next-level idea at a time. Ask him nicely and he might even let you win at pool. Might. Onwards to year four.

KC

Five years for KC, whose coding skills are matched only by her gaming reflexes. Websites get fixed, content gets updated, and somewhere in between she's still finding time to be better at video games than the rest of us combined. Here's to five more levels unlocked.

Want to meet the people behind the work? You'll find the full crew, milestones, and all that over on our team page.

Seasonal Spotlight

Agency Grand Prix

Race four, the grand finale. Team b4b returned to South Coast Karting in Bournemouth for the final round of the Agency Grand Prix, drafting in a secret weapon this time: the b4b Stig, affectionately known as "The Twig".

Ninety minutes of endurance racing ensued with pit stops, chaos, and everything still to play for, making for a brilliant send-off to the series. We narrowly lost out to Cold Banana, but we'll get them next year. Huge thanks to organisers Magic Digits and Salo Creative, our fellow competitors, and the team at South Coast Karting.

UGC & Influencer Workshop

We hosted our very first b4b Social Lab workshop this month, and it did not disappoint. It was fantastic to see so many businesses come together to explore how UGC and influencer marketing can help build trust, strengthen brand awareness and create genuine connections with customers. The discussions, ideas and questions made it a brilliant first event, and we can't wait to welcome everyone back for the next one.

Wimbledon came and went, but July gave us plenty to carry forward too. Three new websites, a first-ever workshop, and a Grand Prix finale for the books. Not a bad haul for a month spent mostly avoiding the sun.

Now, if we've been part of your story this year, we'd love to hear about it:

The b4b World Cup Sweepstake 2026 has reached its final whistle. Spain took the trophy, securing victory for Joey, who edged out Miranda's Argentina to take the crown. For the behind-the-scenes version, the karting drama, the shoots, and the sweepstake, follow us on LinkedInInstagram, and Facebook.

See all of you in August!
