As leading industrial concrete flooring contractors and concrete finishing specialists with a pedigree spanning the last 40 years, Nationwide Concreting approached us as they needed a stronger online presence to showcase their expertise and credentials. With clients that include major UK construction giants, the Nationwide management team wanted to showcase this to enhance their credibility.
Following a meeting to understand more about their business and their future vision, we recommended a custom website along with an integrated marketing campaign that covered SEO, email marketing and social media marketing to build brand awareness and generate new business leads. We also used our in-house media team to capture high-quality imagery and video to showcase their projects.

With the challenge on to create a bespoke website that would demonstrate Nationwide’s expertise, our web design team began with the design phase and as we were running two photoshoots, in advance of the website completion, at various sites with the Nationwide team we knew that we wanted the website to be visually impactful. A full-width image slider was created where we showcase each of their services.

A major part of the website was to present their projects, so we developed a case study module that categorises each project and details the name of the client, location, methodology and the process – details that are important to construction companies looking to appoint a concreting contractor.

The website uses Nationwide’s brand colours of red and black throughout, as well as the outline of the UK from their logo to create a consistent brand image.

SEO & content marketing

For over six years, we have been retained by Nationwide Concreting to manage their SEO strategy alongside other marketing activities. Our SEO team pay close attention to user behaviour on the site to tailor our campaign to ensure that not only does the site rank well and perform in the eyes of Google but also that the content and user journey are engaging. This level of analysis and careful keyword targeting has allowed Nationwide’s website to be the lead generator it is today.

As part of the content marketing campaign aligned to SEO, we wanted to showcase Nationwide’s projects visually, so our in-house media production team visited various sites to capture high-quality images of the team at work as well film them in action.
From the footage, we created visually stunning videos that we then distributed to all UK main contractors via an email marketing campaign, which generated a number of quality leads for Nationwide.

Two years into the campaign, Nationwide was recognised by the London Stock Exchange in their 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain 2017 report, which showcased the UK’s most inspiring and fastest-growing companies. Their inclusion in the report was down to positive growth in revenue overall but also strong sector performance. With such an accolade bestowed upon them, Nationwide were keen to capitalise on this achievement, so our copywriting team created several pieces of content to showcase it, which we then distributed to local and trade media, as well as via their social media channels.
