Trethowans was having a new website built by a different agency, but we were able to take over the final stages of the build and take it to the go-live stage. Since going live, we have been managing the ongoing development of the website and have also worked with them on SEO and PPC campaigns to ensure their online presence is always growing.

Trethowans underwent a full rebrand in late 2019 and b4b was responsible for implementing the new design across the website.

We have worked with Trethowans on their SEO to ensure that their five offices in Salisbury, Poole, Bournemouth, Southampton & Winchester appear on page one of the Google results pages for generic keyword search terms.

The Trethowans website is built on the WordPress platform but it has been heavily customised to suit the client.

As part of the web development, we advised on page layout changes to enhance user experience (UX) and ensure the navigation of the site is easy to follow and intuitive for visitors.

Layout updates are advised based on desktop and mobile experience. Due to heavy customisation of the site, there are multiple plugins that we update on a regular basis.

As Trethowans have different departments catering for both private and commercial clients, our initial remit with SEO activity was to ensure they were appearing on Page 1 of Google for generic keywords such as 'Solicitors Salisbury' etc. With high monthly search volumes, these search phrases were key to Trethowans being found online.

In early 2018, they opened a new office in Bournemouth and with no previous presence in the town before, their online ranking for Bournemouth terms was very low. With a sustained SEO campaign, we were able to take them from the bottom of page 5 in Google to page 1, position 3 and maintain this top ranking. We are pleased to report that they now appear on page 1 of Google for generic terms for all five of their offices in Salisbury, Southampton, Poole, Winchester and Bournemouth.

We also worked with selected departments to boost their Google rankings and generate more online enquiries. Trethowans now have a solid presence in Google that has resulted in a huge jump in leads.

As well as helping Trethowans to be found in the organic rankings of the search engines, we have also implemented various PPC / Google Ads campaigns for them over the past few years, in particular for their Private Client, Personal Injury and Family teams.
