introduction
NMSB, a leading provider of aggregates and building materials in Hampshire and Dorset, approached b4b to design and develop a robust eCommerce website that would help take their online presence to the next level and enhance customer experience. With a growing demand for online services in the sector, NMSB required a platform that was scalable enough to accommodate online sales and growth plans.
NMSB’s old website lacked the functionality required to support their evolving business needs. For example, it did not offer eCommerce capabilities, preventing customers from ordering products or services online. Additionally, the site lacked the ability for customers to apply for credit or cash accounts digitally, forcing the company to rely on manual paperwork.
We suggested a Magento website, as it would provide the flexibility, scalability and eCommerce functionality NMSB required, as well as the ability to deliver more complex functionalities to assist users.
Key features & functionalities
To address these challenges, the b4b software team implemented several key features and functionalities:
The new website has transformed NMSB’s digital presence, delivering a modern, user-friendly platform that enhances customer interactions. By integrating helpful tools such as product calculators and application forms, NMSB has greatly improved the customer experience whilst reducing administrative workloads.
By laying the foundation with Magento, NMSB is now well-positioned for future growth, with eCommerce capabilities set to play a crucial role in their long-term strategy. As they expand their online services, the new website will allow them to meet evolving customer demands and streamline business operations for years to come.
We recently worked with b4b on a complex project to rebuild our company website, including eCommerce - which is a first for us.
The team were dedicated, hardworking and knowledgeable, going above and beyond to meet our requirements, addressing every detail and finding solutions to even the toughest challenges.
We’re thrilled with the result and can’t thank them enough. Now, onto the next phase!
