Green Space UK came to b4b with the goal of establishing an easily accessible, polished, and professional website that would match their status as a growing company, and act as a hub for potential clients to find out more about who they are and what they do.

The Ringwood-based conservatory roofing company has grown rapidly since its inception in 2013. Having started off with six members of staff, they now boast a team of over 100 employees and have grown from a small, local firm into a national market leader. We were thrilled to work with them to design a great new website that reflects who they are as a business.

Our main engineer working on Green Space was our web team’s Matt Lean, who is vastly experienced in the creation and implementation of bespoke websites for businesses.

We also had Charlotte from our Marketing team, as well as one of our directors, Richard, to help communicate, coordinate and provide expertise across all areas of the project process.

To begin, we established an initial consultation with the Green Space team, in order to work out what their goals were for the website and how we could implement their vision.

For this we needed to know website specifics such as roughly how many pages they wanted, pointers on a house style, and their feelings on the page arrangement – as well as broader ideas about how they wanted the site to look and feel.

Lewis from the Green Space team was very helpful in this regard and acted as an excellent go-between for communication.

Following the consultation phase, our team went away and produced a custom-cut front end, completely unique to the clients’ requirements - meaning it could be easily tailored to fit their needs in the present and in the future.

Their website now has a clean, bright and easily accessible front end in their signature colours of green and white, with dropdown menus leading to the extensive resource pages that cover every aspect of the business.

Additionally, Matt worked to create modules that enable easier access to the back end and reduce the hassle that comes alongside editing a site’s pages.
