MSS Tools commissioned us to take charge of their website development, including full design and e-commerce integration. They had previously commissioned a different company to complete this job, allocating them a budget of £10,000 – however, this company failed to provide the finished product, stalling at around £5,000 of work with no progress being made.

After an hour’s friendly discussion with the b4b team, we had agreed a great deal with the client – to start from scratch and take on the full redesign of the website as well as implementation of e-commerce – all for their remaining £5,000 budget.

Following our initial consultation with the friendly MSS Team of Maria, Ben and Shaun, we established exactly how we’d work together as a cohesive unit on the project and what their goals were for the finished product.

Communication protocols between our respective teams were established, meaning that we could continually make progress on the site without hold ups and delays. They fully understood what was needed from them to best enable us to complete the job to the our typically high standards.

The MSS Tools team required a high-quality website that would be effective in driving traffic - which could be converted to sales - as well as show off all the best things about them as a company, including their products and services, ethos, testimonials, case studies and contact details.

They were also looking to implement e-commerce systems to allow them to sell their products and services online, as well as grow their customer base outside of their traditional local clientele.

We aimed to have the site online from the 2nd of September, but the project went so smoothly that we were able to put the site live 2 weeks early!

For the e-commerce aspect of the project, we were able to call upon our e-commerce specialist who had previous experience in working with the client’s preferred platform, WooCommerce. This made it easy for us to install a comprehensive e-commerce system that satisfied the MSS Tools requirements. The MSS Team were prompt in their sending of product pictures and additional information needed to get the system live.
