Four Websites. Three Stunning Locations. One Big Digital Refresh.
Coastdale Parks presented us with a challenge. They wanted to upgrade their brand and modernise the websites for their three coastal holiday parks. The twist? We had to do it all at once. With each site needing its own flavour, features, and tone, it wasn’t a simple duplication job; it was a translation project. Our team were tasked with giving a family-owned, award-winning park experience a new digital life.
The result? Four custom WordPress sites for different audiences — built with speed, scalability, and simplicity — and one very happy client.

Coastdale is a long-established, family-run group with three holiday parks situated across the UK. Their former websites didn’t match the parks’ quality or the easy experience customers sought when booking or buying a holiday home. That’s where b4b came in.
What We Were Asked to Do
- Replace four outdated websites (previously built in Squarespace)
- Rebuild everything in WordPress, with over 100 pages per park
- Make the websites easy for Coastdale’s in-house team to update
- And most importantly, give each park its own identity online
For us, the goal was never just about improving the look and feel. It was to create a consistent user experience across all parks while keeping things distinct, manageable, and built for growth.

This wasn’t four separate projects. It was one big build with four unique destinations. We worked in parallel, using shared design and development components where it made sense but gave each site the space to breathe. That meant custom layouts, specific content, and visuals based on location that matched the parks they showed.
Every park has a different vibe, and we let that lead the design:
Atlantic Coast (Cornwall)
- Soft tones, dune-inspired backdrops, and calm flows that reflect the laid-back, beachside experience.
Garreg Goch (North Wales)
- Clean layouts, open visuals, and a nature-first feel that mirrors the park’s peaceful setting.
Whitby (North Yorkshire)
- Bold colours, dramatic imagery, and strong calls to explore the clifftop views and rugged coastline.
The four sites are clearly related but never identical. Each has its own tone, layout, and personality, with the same solid structure behind the scenes. Better yet, each site didn’t just look the part; it worked the part, too. Guests could check availability, explore ownership options, or browse nearby attractions. The user’s journey was always quick, clear, and designed for mobile use.

We didn’t just deliver four fully bespoke WordPress websites on time and in sync, with over 100 pages each. Each site was also tailored for SEO, performance, and user experience.
The Results Were Immediate
- Bounce rates are down, mobile usability is up, and page speed has soared.
- Coastdale Park’s team now has complete control and can update listings, add seasonal offers, and manage enquiries — all in one place.
- The sites are now as user-friendly as the parks themselves, with fast-loading pages and intuitive navigation
With a user-friendly WordPress dashboard, Coastdale Park’s team can make changes confidently. They’re no longer burdened with “spaceship control panels” and no longer rely on web developers’ assistance. Now, they can sit back and dive into a seamless, efficient experience.
Plus, the new sites don’t just look the part; they work the part, too. They’ve improved the user journey from bookings to ownership enquiries. It’s now smoother, faster, and more enjoyable for the team and their customers.

No two parks are the same, and neither should their websites be. We aimed for variety in our design while keeping development consistent. This approach helped us balance speed, creativity, and control.
More importantly, we helped Coastdale Parks move from “make-do” to “made-for-them”. Their sites finally reflect what guests can expect when they arrive: quality, ease, and that classic coastal feeling. At b4b, we believe that smart website design isn’t just about looks but also about giving your guests confidence and your team control. Whether you’re updating listings or boosting bookings, your site should work as hard as you do.
