We partnered with Pet Social to create a dedicated social platform for pet owners, a place where pets are truly the stars of the show. Designed to combine the fun and familiarity of social media with a pet-first focus, the platform aims to bring together an ever-growing community of pet lovers and help connect users with pet-friendly locations and businesses.
Breaking into the social media space is no small undertaking. Pet Social faces the challenge of competing with established giants like Instagram and Facebook, platforms already used by millions to share photos of their pets.
To stand out, Pet Social needed to offer something unique - a platform built entirely around pets and their owners. This meant creating an app that not only provided the familiar sharing and tagging experience people love, but also delivered practical, pet-focused tools that other social platforms do not.
b4b was tasked with building a bespoke app and supporting website that would showcase this unique positioning, attract a loyal community, and scale to accommodate ambitious future features.
