We redesigned Jurassic Tools’ website and built them a new, user-friendly e-commerce store to improve their customer experience and increase conversions.
As specialist engineering tools suppliers, Jurassic Tools required a user-friendly e-commerce site that enabled visitors to search for, and secure, their desired products with ease.
With thousands of items to browse in their online catalogue, it was important to ensure that each of the extensive number of pages on their site were clear and easy to access. In order to increase online sales, the order process had to be as smooth and seamless as possible.
Our brilliant web design and development team were conscious that the client would also need to be able to operate their site without difficulty. They explored the various options and used their expertise to recommend the right platform to build the site on, in order to increase functionality from the get-go.
Paying strong attention to detail, our expert website developers carried out a total transformation on Jurassic Tools’ existing site, which had become slow and hard to navigate.
The overall look of the website was updated by introducing a fresh design, while all existing product data was carefully imported, checked, and transferred across. This was a huge manual task that the team knew would take time to get done right.
As well as being a user-friendly online shop where customers can easily browse and find products, it was important to the client that their website showcase the rich history of the business. The Home and About pages were laid out in a way that presented this information in a clear and engaging way.
From start to finish, the team reviewed the previous website and built the new pages based on that. We imported all the data manually from the old site, and edited the styling and formatting.
When the build was complete, we carried out full testing in order to deliver optimal results, ease of use for the client, and the very best customer experience possible. Part of this involved checking the site’s responsiveness. Once it was migrated to the live server, we carried out further post-live checks.
