Salary: Up to £40,000

As one of the South Coast’s leading digital marketing agencies, we design and manage the websites, marketing and business systems for a large number of clients across Dorset, Hampshire and further afield.

We’re looking for a digital marketing expert with a background ideally in both SEO and Paid Search to join our Marketing team.

As our new SEO & Paid Search Specialist, you’ll have at least 5 years’ experience in performing SEO and Paid Search either in-house, freelance or from another agency.  Your role will be planning strategy and implementing SEO activity & paid campaigns for our range of B2C and B2B clients. You will have support of the wider marketing team which includes our Account Managers and other specialists to ensure you are able to achieve our clients’ goals.

Key Responsibilities:

SEO

  • Help to lead the development and execution of organic search strategies to improve rankings, traffic and conversions on our client’s websites.
  • Stay current with industry trends and leverage best-in-class tools and software.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Drive innovation through testing new strategies.
  • Oversee the performance of SEO campaigns and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Manage hands-on execution of SEO tasks and delegate sub-tasks within the team.
  • Regularly conduct detailed data analyses, audits, and optimise campaigns based on findings.
  • Report key metrics and campaign performance to the Account Managers and clients.

Paid Search

  • Plan, develop, implement, track and optimise paid marketing campaigns across Google, Meta, LinkedIn and Bing
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimise account spend and performance based on the insight data
  • Maintain and monitor all top-level account metrics such as bidding strategy, daily and monthly budget caps, impression share, CTR, CPA, quality scores
  • PPC landing page creation and optimisation
  • Creative copy testing and optimisation
  • Generating meaningful and insightful reporting for all primary metrics, goal tracking, revenue tracking, and other paid marketing initiatives
  • Collaborating with internal teams to enhance campaigns, deliver creative solutions to drive prospecting, and produce more optimised performance results
  • Maintaining a high-level knowledge of paid search industry trends and developments
  • Developing and implementing new paid search strategies as the industry/market and channels develop

Requirement of the Role:

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in both execution and strategy
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of paid search (Google, Meta & LinkedIn) and organic SEO
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager and Google Data Studio
  • Excellent standard of copywriting and command of written English
  • Good understanding of various website CMS platforms, including WordPress and Shopify
  • Strong Communication skills – written and verbal
  • Attention to detail and commitment to performance optimisation
  • Organised yet flexible, able to prioritise own and others’ workload to meet agreed deadlines
  • Exceptional technical SEO skills, including but not limited to, how to manage and influence website health, Core Web Vitals, hreflang tag usage, website speed, and structured data.
  • A strong understanding of Content Marketing and PPC, and how they interact with and complement SEO.
  • Advanced knowledge of SEO tools
