Teamworksoftware.com is the project collaboration arm of Business 4 Business Limited, a member of The Virtual Development Group.

We have been running Virtual Teams on a project basis for over 6 years now. In doing so we became frustrated with the limitations of traditional shareware and project management packages that required expensive installation, training and maintenance.

Our projects run for between weeks and months and use participants who are not co-located (i.e. Virtual Teams) and who do not have a common desktop.

In 1998 we developed an in-house package that we first run on one of our servers. This developed into a website, known as Teamworks, that we used for running internal projects. In response to the success of this with our users and clients we have now developed a web-based package that allows us to set up an 'instance' of Teamworks for any project team anywhere at any time. Each 'instance' comes with an administration suite that allows you to control the setup, communications and document management facilities from your desktop.
